About Denim Cash and how it helps
There are two main purposes to Denim Cash:
- Rebates: Upon receiving a payment from your customer and applying the payment to an invoice, the job's rebate will be added to your Denim Cash account.
- Funding jobs: You can use Denim Cash to fund non-factored carrier payables without factoring a receivable invoice. If your Denim Cash balance is too low, you can send Denim funds to increase your Denim Cash balance.

Requesting Denim Cash
On your Dashboard, you can view your Denim Cash Balance and well as the Denim Cash Available for release.

In Denim Cash Available, an info icon shows you the details that Denim Cash Available is the difference between Denim Cash Balance and Denim Cash Minimum.

Use the Request Release button to request a release to your Denim-connected bank account. Before requesting, make sure the connected bank account is open and active. Funds are sent by standard ACH.
You can also request a release from Reports > Denim Cash Report > Request Release. Enter the amount and submit the request. Submitting a request does not mean that it has been approved or paid.
đź’ˇRequest limits and amount changes: You can request Denim Cash no more than once in a 24-hour period. If an open request has the wrong amount, cancel it and submit a replacement for the intended amount, subject to the 24-hour restriction. Otherwise, an open request prevents you from creating another request until the initial request is complete. Denim reviews every request and may limit releases, including to no more than one per week; approval and payment are not guaranteed.

When a request is submitted, you can see the request details and status in your Request Center.
Please see Request Center overview for more details on how you can see request details.Â
When you click on Request Release, the Request a Denim Cash Release modal opens.

Enter the amount of Denim Cash you would like released in the Denim Cash Request box.Â

Case 1: Risk and warning
If you have upcoming Chargebacks or Denim Cash-funded Payables that may be at risk due to the amount you are requesting, Denim shows warning that explains the risk before you submit your request.

Case 2: Requested amount exceeds the available cash
If you enter an amount that exceeds the available balance, Denim shows you a message to correct the amount.

When you send this request successfully, it shows in the Request Center as a Denim Cash Payout request followed by the date of request. You can click on the request to see its details.

If a payout request has already been submitted or approved with the wrong amount, Support cannot simply edit that request. Submit a new payout request for the intended amount. The new request remains subject to Denim's review and is not a guarantee of approval or release.
A balance shown in Denim Cash is not itself a bank payout. For example, when Support confirms that funds are in Denim Cash after a chargeback reversal, a separate release request is required to move those funds to the connected bank account. Contact Support for account-specific tracing or actions.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- All requests for Denim Cash are reviewed within 1 business day.
- If the request is approved by 4PM ET, funds are sent as a next-day ACH.
- If the request is approved after 4:00 PM EST, funds are sent 2 business days later
Approved payout requests are added to a payment batch. Batches are automatically approved at 4:00 PM ET each business day, after which ACH payments are sent for processing. Denim's operating account may be debited later that evening, and funds may be available in the recipient's bank account as early as midnight, depending on the bank's processing time. These are qualified processing descriptions, not guarantees of approval, ACH transfer, or bank availability.
After a bank transfer is sent, arrival typically can take 24–48 hours depending on how quickly the bank processes it. This estimate applies to bank-transfer arrival and does not replace or change the review and approval-based ACH schedule above; it does not apply to other payout methods.

Criteria for Reviewing Denim Cash Requests
Before approving or rejecting a request for Denim Cash, Denim's risk team evaluates the request for following factors. Some additional factors may also be considered.
- Aging and Disputes
- Denim will review the client's open aging to identify disputed invoices and invoices older than 75 DSO and unlikely to be paid before recourse terms apply.
- Disputes and overdue invoices may result in a Denim Cash release that is smaller than requested or a rejected request.
- During a release evaluation, Support may retain some funds in Denim Cash to cover receivables that are nearing chargeback age. This retention is not a new chargeback debit. A reduced payout does not necessarily mean that funds were retained, and the timing or outcome of any later release is not guaranteed. Contact Support for an account-specific balance reconciliation.
- Client account activity
- If it has been 14+ days since the client’s last funded invoice, Denim will typically hold Denim Cash until all outstanding invoices are paid.
- Clients are considered in default after 21 days of inactivity.
- If a Denim Cash control is disabled or the page says that cash is on hold, contact Support to review the account-specific hold. If Support verifies that the basis for the hold has been resolved, Support may remove the hold and the release control may become available. Holds can have different causes, and resolving an invoice does not automatically clear a hold.
- Payments that have not been forwarded to Denim: If the client has received funds that should have been paid to Denim, and the payment has not been forwarded to Denim, the request is unlikely to be approved.
- Contractual Default: If the client is in default per the factoring agreement, they are ineligible for a Denim Cash release.
- Recent Releases
- Denim will review the date of the last DC release.
- Denim reserves the right to limit releases to no more than one per week.

Negative Denim Cash
If your Denim Cash account is negative, this likely means you had some invoices charged back, you over-advanced a contractor, or an overpayment that had previously been credited to and released from Denim Cash was later corrected or reallocated. In that last situation, the credit can be reverted to Denim Cash and the balance can become negative; this is one possible cause, not an explanation for every negative balance.
When Denim Cash is negative, incoming client payables or advances may be withheld to recover the negative balance until the balance is positive. No fixed hold amount or release date is guaranteed. If you disagree with an adjustment or need reconciliation, contact Support.
Before a receivable reaches its chargeback or recourse age, share relevant payment-status updates with Support. This may help Support review the payment status, but it does not guarantee that a chargeback will be avoided or reversed.
If Support confirms that funds are in Denim Cash after a chargeback reversal, those funds are not themselves a bank payout. A separate release request is required to move them to the connected bank account; funds are not automatically released. Contact Support for account-specific tracing or actions.
