About credit limit

You can set credit limits for each of your customers so that you can provide them services by generating invoice. For every customer, Denim's credit team approves the credit limit for the customers, and you can always increase of decrease the credit limits, as required.

Make sure that you set the credit limits for the business cycle and not for a single invoice.

For the factored jobs, Denim makes advance payment for such jobs. These payments are adjusted with the credit limit of the customers in that job.

Credit review conditions and timing

For an increase to an existing credit line, the request is reviewed when the line is nearly fully used—within 5% of its limit, or with about 5% or less remaining. Check the customer's utilization and wait until the line is closer to full, then contact the account relationship manager if needed. This threshold does not guarantee an increase; Denim makes the final credit decision.

Credit requests can also be submitted through the dashboard and are typically reviewed within one hour. This is a typical turnaround, not a service-level guarantee or an approval promise. For credit-increase requests, another review-timing expectation is that requests submitted before 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time are reviewed the same day, while requests submitted after 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time are reviewed the next business day. These timeframes are separate expectations; handling at exactly 12:00 p.m., holidays, and other exceptions are not specified.

For a new broker or customer credit request, Denim cannot use a generic-domain email such as Gmail or Hotmail. When possible, provide an invoicing or collections contact whose email domain matches the business name. A request for this email information is separate from a later credit decision; providing the email alone does not resolve a denial.

Follow up when a request needs attention

Follow the specific instruction shown when a request is marked Needs Attention. If supporting documentation is requested, submit evidence that supports the credit increase. A lane agreement or customer contact may be an example of supporting documentation, but these are not a complete or universal list and do not guarantee approval.

If the notice asks for business contact details, provide the details named in that notice, such as the business address, phone number, and invoicing email, so the request can proceed to review. If an individual request says, “Please include a full address for an accurate credit evaluation,” provide the full address for the business under review and allow the portfolio or credit team to review it. A full address may help a general review proceed faster, but it is not established as a universal requirement or an approval guarantee.

If a new credit request was declined for insufficient credit history, the credit team may reassess it if the applicant provides audited financials from the customer. In one review scenario, the team confirmed that it could accept and review a balance sheet and cashflow statement. These are examples for that scenario, not universal requirements. Reassessment results in a decision, which is not necessarily approval.

For credit inquiries, you can contact factoringcredit@truckstop.com. This is a contact route for questions and does not guarantee a response, resolution, or credit decision.

If the approved line is fully used, additional jobs may need to be submitted as non-factored. If the customer continues paying within terms, the credit can be reviewed again, but a future increase is not guaranteed.

For an existing-line increase, support may need to confirm that payments on past-due loads were received and applied before the account can be reviewed. A scheduled payment or mailed check is not proof that the funds were received and applied. If a mailed check was cashed, confirm that with the payer; support may ask for a front-and-back copy of the cashed check to research it. This does not guarantee receipt, review, or approval.

Credit decision context and entity matching

Payment performance is one factor in a credit decision. Denim may also consider available financial information, credit history, business tenure, payment trends, and overall risk exposure. These factors are not an exhaustive list or a published formula, and consistent payments alone do not establish that a higher limit will be approved. A limit may remain at its approved maximum when the overall credit profile does not support additional exposure.

Risk reviews payment history across multiple sources, including payment behavior reported through outside sources. Days to pay is not based solely on the Net 30 or Net 60 terms listed with Denim. High days to pay can be one reason for a credit denial or for a request not being factorable at that time; it is not a universal or sole criterion, and no threshold or formula should be inferred. Direct account-specific questions about a decision to the appropriate human credit review.

Before explaining a decision or treating outside credit or profile information as a contradiction, verify that the request, customer or business identity, evidence, and credit explanation all refer to the same exact entity. A mismatched profile or screenshot should be corrected and reviewed for the intended business; correcting an identity mismatch does not guarantee an increase or approval.

A Client Debtor Relationship (CDR) credit amount is distinct from the customer's broader global credit limit. A CDR amount of $0 alone does not prove that no global credit is available, when an applicable global limit exists. It also does not guarantee that an individual job will be approved.

Available credit under your own line does not override a separate broker or carrier credit request being blocked because that counterparty's account is deactivated. When the notice says the account must be activated before the request can be reviewed, the carrier should contact Denim Support about reactivation first. Reactivation and any later credit review or approval are not guaranteed.
